Symposium, flea market and general meeting 2022

The AMSAT-DL Symposium will be held prior to the General Membership Meeting on Saturday, September 10, 2022 from 10 am to 1 pm. The general meeting will follow at 2 p.m., after a short lunch break during which refreshments will be provided.

10:30 till 11:15	“Nothing is impossible” – a selection of almost unbelievable antenna constructions in the footprint of QO-100	Charly Eichhorn, DK3ZL

11:30 till 12:15	“Characterization of High Accuracy Clocks and Oscillators” – definition of the second, access to UTC, clock comparison via satellites, outlook: QO-100 for time and frequency synchronization.	Wolfgang Schäfer, DK5GB

Between the presentations there is a break of 5 minutes for “conversions” (microphone changes, loading presentations, etc,).

Flea market

At short notice we have also decided to offer again an amateur radio flea market, because it was very well received last time “before Corona”. After a major clean-up operation, some of the items from the collection in Bochum will also be offered for sale. Tables will be available inside the radome.
